A Message From Joe

Dear Friends of Catholic Education,

I was recently asked, "why are you running for re-election as a Catholic School Trustee?"
My Answer:

I love children. I love my Faith. Love the community of Ward 6 and I love Hamilton.

I was honoured to be elected in 2014 as Trustee to succeed Fr. Kennedy who left a legacy of 40 years of service. Serving as a Catholic School Trustee is a vocation - it's not a job, it's a calling, I beleive, and as such I believe I have the necessary skills and backgground to be a great representative. This last term I build some positive relationships with the School Councils and I would like to continue to carry out that initiative as we welcome St. Teresa of Calcutta school community into the Ward 6 family of schools (St. Margaret Mary, St. Anthony Daniel and St. Kateri) as a result of the boundary changes.

My priority for next term is about strengthening the Triad relationship between School Home and Parish. To build on our existing strengths which make Catholic Education unique and rewarding. An integration of our faith in every aspect of our student's lives and to help build a system which will provide our children with the sound foundation upon which they will experience an abundance of opportunities in the future.

It's about our children. It's about our future. I see no greater priority than them. I ask for your kind support on election day as, I'm sure you would agree, I have the experience that counts.

Thank You,
Joseph Baiardo
